Shelters are FULL with cats, kittens, and dogs. If you have room in your home and heart consider fostering an animal or a litter of kittens. Contact your local shelter and ask how you can help. There is no expense to you when fostering, the shelter will provide you with pet food, a crate, medical care for the animals.
Be warned sometimes you don't want to give them back!
